Who is Uther Moon?

I’m Uther Moon, a filmmaker and musician based in Portland, Maine, and co-founder of Cratermoon Productions. My filmmaking style can range from bold cinematic visuals to a more candid experimental side. Since I picked up my first camera at age ten, film has been the driving force behind my visual creativity, bringing my ideas to life.

I specialize in music videos, commercials, narrative filmmaking, and modern art projects. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with major record labels, including Warner Records and Island Records, documenting concerts and directing music videos for a variety of artists. Beyond live music, I’m deeply experienced in narrative-driven documentaries and behind-the-scenes storytelling, and I recently directed the short film I’m Right Here (2024).

Growing up surrounded by art, with both parents as working artists, has kept me grounded in creativity since day one. I’m passionate about working with labels, brands, and collaborators who are seeking a fresh vision and a genuine story told through film.

If you’re ready to bring a story to life, let’s connect.
